For Mac: M1 chip or newer with 16GB RAM handles most 7B models well. M3/M4 Pro with 36GB+ RAM can run 70B models. For Windows: 16GB RAM minimum, dedicated GPU (RTX 3060+) recommended for larger models. I'll recommend the right model for your specific hardware during the session.
